I am currently a rising senior at Bucknell University who is pursuing a major in electrical engineering. Current gpa is 3.15 out of 4.0. I am also pursuing minors in mathematics and classics.
Experience
In my second year at Bucknell University I got involved in an ESL tutoring program where for 2-4 hours a week I would travel to a local middle school in Milton, Pa to help middle school students in ESL classes. The subjects in which I helped included 7th grade math, reading, science and social studies. After this experience I felt a need to help the students learn the knowledge they were yet to be a taught and it was due to that need that I realized that I would enjoy tutoring and from there teaching became a career that I would be passionate about. I hope to fulfill that role and become a teacher one day and would love nothing else but to gain the experience and help other students while I work towards that step. At my university I am part of a group called Engineering Success Alliance and in that group we provide assitance for other first generation engineering students and have gained more teaching/tutor experience through this group. With this groups I have participated and created S.T.E.M. workshops to get elementary and middle school aged kids interested in S.T.E.M. majors/careers.

Hobbies
In high school I ran on my cross country team as well as track and since then I continue to constantly run throughout the whole year to pass time. While in school I also am content to travel in Pennsylvania andgo for hikes. I was also taught to play the piano since I was ten years old and still continue to play today in my free time and although I no longer take lessons I continue to teach myself. Another musical instrument I have picked up the ukulele and although I have never had a teacher I enjoy teaching myself to play.
